Hi, we have bought some key expanders for some 1200 series phones. There is no guide with them and when they are installed they appear to boot up fine. However I can't get autodials etc set on them, does anyone know what key numbers they use? We are using the 12 key LCD model.

Have you added the KEM in programming on the TN? It won't recognize it otherwise.

What overlay do you add a KEM? In LD11?

A KEM4 is shown in TM but this isn't configurable.

against the set you have a prompt AOM (add on Module) set to 1 (if you have 1 kem on the set) and there is a class of serice of KEMn (n=number specific to the set type(if you got the right number of keys in software then you have the right cls))

I've attached a 1200 series expander to a 1140 and printed out the TN. KEM is equal to 1 but cannot find AOM?

On the expander it says i00v138 v115. Is it working? How do I program these keys?

Reading the NTP it mentions a 1140 needs a KEM3. With KEM3 the expander starts at key 68 but on the print out I only get up to key 67. Any ideas?

On an 1140 the CLS has to have KEM3 there is also a KEM entry in just after the customer entry in the station programming. You should have a KEM 1 there. Like below.

See below print out of extension. I have KEM 1 and CLS KEM3. I only see up to key 67. In the NTPs it says it should start at 68.

Your KEM has 18 keys on it yeh, so it starts at key 32 and if you press the shift button it starts at key 50.

If you still have i00v138 v115 on the add on, your phone firmware is older and you need to upgrade the phone firmware.
