I have a Solaris jumpstart server running on a Solaris 8 platform. It is also configured at the boot server. I have successfully jumped Solaris 8 and 9 sparc systems from the server, and, for a time, Solaris 10, sparc. But now, no systems can jumpstart with Solaris 10. It just sits forever at a promt as follows:

Boot device: /pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/network@c,1 File and args: - install
Timeout waiting for ARP/RARP packet
3a000

-

As far as I know, nothing in the jumpstart configuration for Solaris 10 has changed. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be, and better yet, how to fix it?

I would try the following command at ok prompt:

ok boot net -v - install

-v will give you more output (verbose), so you might know what is going on
