My problem is this: Yesterday I booted one of our backup servers. I didn't know that there was been some hw changes and after the boot library and tape drive scsi-addresses are scrambled. I haven't been run jbconfig on this system with lot of remote devices and for some reason I don't want to scramble the whole setup.
I have now only one drive which is not working, but I need that drive tomorrow, so I guess I have to run jbconfig/jbedit. Can you tell me how it's done. Drive 2 is my problem. it used to be /dev/rmt/1cbn and it is supposed to be /dev/rmt/0cbn now. Forget the /dev/rmt/4cbn. It's the unconfigured drive which caused the whole conflict
So my question is now: How can you tell networker drive 2 should use address /dev/rmt/0cbn? This is Solaris 9 system with NW 7.2.
Here you can see the current drive setup:
drive 1 (/dev/rmt/2cbn) slot :
drive 2 (rd=b-nwsvqd01:/dev/rmt/0cbn) slot : service mode
(rd=b-nwsvpd01:/dev/rmt/0cbn) slot : service mode
(/dev/rmt/1cbn) slot 142: 000227 service mode
