Quick question, I am trying to configure a J179 phone for the first time and noticed the Settings file only has J129 settings (below example)
I am curious if J129 settings is used for J179? as I would like to build out the below file for J179

Thank you!

IF $MODEL4 SEQ J129 GOTO SETTINGSJ129
# SETTINGSJ129
########## Add settings for J129 SIP phones ##########SET SIPDOMAIN sip.wavebroadband.com
SET SIPPORT 5060
SET PHNOL 9
##SET MSGNUM
SET PROCPSWD 7145

I wouldn't think so. J129 = kinda like 9601 basic. J179 is kinda like 9608. Model specific settings probably wouldn't be interchangeable

Download the latest version of the 46xxsettings.txt file. It identifies all of the parameters that apply to the J179. You should also be using the J100 2.0 software now.

So apparently Avaya has an "historical" and a "current" 46xxsettings link on the web and I click on historical which is dated back to 2017.
I Clicked on "current" and now see the J100 in the 2018 46xxsettings. Thanks you gwebster!!
