J179 Hold Problem

Call rings in to reception group.
One of the receptionists answers, puts caller on hold.
Call never rings back and results in caller hanging up.
Hold Timer set for 30 sec, but no matter what is set, call never rings back.
Have tested this repeatedly.
Previously were on 9508 sets, but were just upgraded and did not have this problem prior.
R11.0.4 using J179 SIP.
Any suggestions?
 
Hi all.
If I figure out what is causing the "no ringback on hold" problem, I'll post for anyone else that might run into this issue.
 
Sounds like a bug, never experienced this.
Are you on 11.0.4.7? Or an earlier release of 11.0.4.

Yes IPOTS, searching through the docs it appears to be a known bug resolved in

General Availability(GA)- IP Office Release 11.0.4 Service Pack 1.

The customer was on an earlier R11.0.4... and just recently upgraded some of their phones to J179, so was only recently made aware of the issue.

Have not had any other problems in 4+ years, so no updates were ever done.

Will be applying this update next week and will report back results.
