IX Workplace warm transfer 2

Hi, Can someone help me find the setting to make a warm transfer with a IX Workplace client?

IP Office is running R11.0 SP3
IX Workplace client is up-to-date

User logged in also had a J139 phone and can make warm transfer without a problem. Seems that client is not having a second call leg available to add a second call to the phone.

Incoming the mobile client can have a waiting call, so second call is presented to mobile client when already on another call.

I think it has something to do with a setting in the PBX, all clients do have the same issue, android and ios.

I think the only way is to make a conf call and then drop out.

Put the 1st call on hold, call the other ext. When the callee is ready for transfer, drag the current call to the one on hold.
 
I am unable to make a conf or even call a second person. So when already on a call I am unable to create another call leg from that client.

I also tested it with another customer that is already running R11.0 SP4 but has the same issue.
 
Resolved this issue. It's the way of calling a second person. I tried this via the dialpad, but this diel pad is only for DTMF/menu purposes.

You need to call a second person from the homescreen. The first call will go to hold and after the second call is active the options for warm transfer and conference light up and you can use them.
 
tavayas when you say homescreen do you mean the actual telephone device and not the dialpad on the application?

If it is from the phone itself then that won't help this situation they are are using the Softphone client. No physical phone.


 
Just following up on this as I am still unbale to find a way to do a warm transfer/Consult. Not sure what was meant by home screen. Is it on the phone itself or the IX App?
Does anyone know of a way or does it only work on Aura/

 
Hi Nystech,

No you won't have to leave the workplace app. This is the process on mobile app:

1. you are on a active call
2. Hit the 3 dots button in call screen
3. Put the call on hold (so other side won't hear all tap actions)
4. Push the 'Hmburger' icon on the top left
5. Make your choice (for example favorites or contacts, you will also see your current waiting call)
6. find the contact you want to call
7. Make the call
8. Hit the 3 dots button in call screen again
9. Hit the '2 arrows' button
10. finalize the transfer
