I am running IPO 9.1 with external SIP Trunks and 9608 IP Phones. I have a Combo6210/ATM4 Card installed. I am using one of the analog station ports on it for an analog phone. The issue is when I place/receive an external call, The call rings into but when the person picks up, neither party can hear each other talk. It does that same thing on incoming calls. Now I can place the same call from my 9608 and it works without any issues.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Is this the card you have? Which port is the phone in?

IP500 Combination Card with 4 Analog Trunks
This card works in the IP500 V2 only and provides:

• 4 Analog trunk ports.
• 2 Analog extension ports for the connection of analog telephones.
• 6 Digital Station (DS) ports for the connection of Avaya digital telephones.
• 10 VCM channels to support IP telephones or voice networking.

Yes, I am using the 2 Analog extension ports.

Thanks

Could you do a default monitor trace when making a call?

Have you tried to power down switch and reset card and retest?

Does the analog phone work when connected directly on the analog trunk?

I don't have any Analog trunks. I only have SIP Trunks.

Thanks

Nice one, thought it was a analog trunk.
So with the IP Phone it is fine but with the analog phone it isn't....
Usually it is the other way around, I assume the analog phone can call the IP Phone and vice versa...
Thinking...... I give up, it is late here and I have to get up early so it is for another one to answer this one. i'm going to bed.
Make some traces but I don't think that will help a lot...
