I'm planning to convert several POTS loop lines to ISDN BRI. Since this is the first time for me, I have a couple of question.
1) Is there still the digital to analog conversion of the voice? In other words, with ISDN doesthe quality of the voice improve and eliminate the static the Norstar typically has on analog loop lines?
2) Is there any additional equipment required at the customer site (from the ISDN line at network interface to the 4PSTBRI - NT7B76AA Trunk module of the CICS)? Or will I connect the 2 channel BRI directly to the punch down of the KSU?
As always, thx for the help!
