Hi all,

I have just upgraded one of my customers from DassII to ISDN 30, we are still using the NSU.

I have programmed the NSU via IMAT, and within the 3300 config have changed the trunk disc to allow ISDN NODE.

The ISDN 30 link comes up and are able to dial local and national numbers, however i can't seem to call mobile number i.e. 07 numbers.

Class of service is still the same as when we had the Dass connected, I have still checked this side of the programming and all seems to be fine, when i dial this number i get busy tone 9 times out of ten and some times i will get through.

I have checked the trunks thinking i might be picking up the same trunk when this works, i have also called these numbers via direct trunk select just in case it is a programming issue within the ARS, STILL THE SAME THING i get busy tone.

I hope someone can help as I'm now totally lost??????

Merely a wild guess here, but I'm thinking you're going to have to set it up (via IMAT) to use call-by-call (CBC) and then build separate digit mods, at least one for the mobile calls and another for the local and national calling.
It would seem from your problem description that the carrier is needing you to tell it what type of call this is (the mobile calls).
You do that using CBC and then insert an additional digit prepended to the call which is absorbed by the carrier.
Use a different prepended digit for each different type of call (your carrier may be able to tell you what they need to see from you).
Then if you wish (or need) to mask this additional digit from your SMDR reporting you simply put the added digit inside curly braces, i.e. {1}
