I have a CM5.2 mixed digital and IP sets. The sets in question are digital display sets that are part of a pickup group and a coverage answer group. The question revolves around a flashing pickup light. I do not have pickup alerting active in my system features, yet these stations will see their pickup button fluttering . . . sometimes there is a call at their station (I am assuming it is there due to the coverage answer group) and sometimes there is not! No audible ringing during this 'unusual' time!

Maybe it's this.....
Avaya Feature Description manual said:
If another call comes into the pickup group while a group member is talking on a pickup call, the member on the pickup call cannot answer the incoming call. If the group member who is already on a pickup call attempts to answer the incoming call to another telephone using Call Pickup, the Call Pickup button status lamp "flutters" for a few seconds. The fluttering status lamp indicates denial of service. The call that the member is currently on is not interrupted.

You can have it all. You just can't have it all at once.

Thank you for your comments but that is not it. The individuals are having the lamps flutter when they are not attempting to use the pickup. Also, one can approach hours later and see the pickup lamp fluttering. Sometimes it is all of the phones and sometimes it is just a couple of sets in the group. This is very mysterious!
