Is it possible to change how often the BB syncs with the server?

For what application?
With email and a BES, it doesn't sync... the emails are "pushed" to the device as they are received.

The idea of push email is that it's pushed from the BES when it's received. The BB doesn't connect to get it like with other devices

BES constantly watches the users mailbox and as soon as email arrives it pushes it immeadiately to the users device. It doesnt connect like the older versions of windows mobile. Yes, the new Windows mobile 5 has an option for push email, but with BES there is no need to set a schedule for when the device connects because its immeadiate.
