Can someone tell me in a Circutless IP can be reached from the public side of a VPN Router/Contivity. For example if I setup a public IP from my ISP as a Circutless IP can it be reachable from outside the internal network?
I would think not but some quick testing would probably prove the point. You'd have to use an IP address that your ISP would route to your box. I would generally think that a Circuitless IP interface would only be visible on the internal interface where you could advertise a /30 route to it from your internal routing table.
thanks i wasnt sure if there was a trick to get that working. Do you know is there a way to get two public ip address from the same network on the public LAN interfaces. Now I have 3 interfaces, one for private, one for public and one spare.
I have 5 public ip from my ISP I have one of those on the public LAN Interface, I am searching for a way to add another, everything I try gives me "Overlap of IP range".
I have tried adding it to the spare interface as well as adding a multinet to the current "public" interface with no luck.
