We’ve a very strange problem.
Customer have 2 sites with 2 IPOffices, 8.1 (73) with SCN connected.
External lines configured on site A

Situation:
An incoming call on site A, in incoming call route, we routed the call to site B, a Avaya 3720 dect station. It works fine.
An incoming call on site A, in incoming call route, we routed the call to site B, a Avaya 9608 station. It works fine.
An incoming call on site A, in incoming call route, we routed the call to site B, huntroep with a Avaya 9608 station. It works fine.
But:

An incoming call on site A, in incoming call route, we routed the call to site B, a huntgroup with a 3720 dect station. Dect is ringing, customer answers the call but hear nothing. Caller still hear a ringback tone.
I checked the system status and I see “connected” but no conversation, caller still hearing the ringback tone.

Directly from site A to site B, no problem.
When a Avaya dect station is a member of a huntgroup and we call the huntgroup extension from site A to site B, problem occur.

I’ve no idea how to check…

Attached a trace of a test call. I called with 06xxxxxxxx to hunt 1560 within dect 1481.
1481 was ringing, answer the phone, I hear still a ringback tone. System Status says “connected”.

Which System Status says connected? Site A or B?
Do you have SIP trunks?

Site B says connected, I didn't have check Site A System Status.
Yes, we have SIP trunks.

Check what the A site says, or most probably the SIP provider never gets an SIP OK that the call is answered and continue to play ringback.

Site A displays: Alerting and not connected.
So it means that only a huntgroup call not a 200 OK send back, but a direct call on a dect does well?

Then Site A never gets the message.

Which Site is the huntgroup configured on?
Does Site B have any external lines?

Incoming number from site A route to a huntgroep on site B. Then the problem occur, but only with dect stations in the huntgroep. Fixed stations in the huntgroup works fine.

When I configure the hunt on site A within a dect station of site B all works fine.

It's difficult to describe, but I've uploaded an Image where you can see the scenario's and the problem.

I think this is your problem and fixed in 8.1.79
