Dear friends,
We have installed IPO500 preferred edition for one of our client.
CCR,CSCM and voicemailpro all was working fine.
suddenly while saving the new user configuration we couldn't ping IPO from both ports(LAn/wan).
Then we erase the configuration from DTE port and ping response started.
Also we are able to open thr manager.
But to save the new configuration its asking for password ,we tried Administrator,Password and its saying access denied.
Please adviec wghat are we missing?

Thanks in advance.

1st make sure that the IP office is in standard ip office mode. If the password of Administrator (username Administrator) does not work (make sure you spell it correctly, its a commonly misspelled word), jump into the security settings and re-set the system password.

Then try again.

If its in quick mode (lame mode), the password is "password".

Actually its preferred edition but when we erased the config & open via manager it is showing essential quick mode administration.

It goes into that mode when you default it. Change the mode then you'll be fine. Preferred is just licensing.

Not that you should be installing the system when you don't already know this... but after defaulting it starts in Quick mode from R7, to change mode/access the kit the password is "password" (not a capital P) :)

Not happy with Avaya ATM....

Thanks team.
We are able to open IPO config in standard mode.

Now when we add licenses its showing invalid.
Could you please advice what needs to do now?

call a qualified business partner to install your switch and supply valid licences.

They should change that to IP Office Professionals. Any idiot can use a computer...if they can't we refer them to apple.com
