Hey,
ronromano started the wish list last year. I think it´s time for a new wish list!


- DTMF with Softconsole
- Softconsole need to Edit the Toolbar, mostly i need
to hide CallRecordButton
- Buttonprogramming
need for a button that is able to send more than one
digit as dtmf on a call
- IPOManager
it would be great if there is a worksheet, where you
can mark some Users and change something and this change
is applied to every user for e.g. mark 10 User and set
reserve last CA for all of them (like the Avaya ISA
Application for Integral 5) this would save a lot of time.
- some customer ask to receive the call log as an email,
i don´t think it is that good, but other vendors do it,
and so it is an advantage for them
- support for 16xx phones and 96xx phones (i know 16xx
will come, but the advantage for 96xx phones is the
admnistrationtime no paper labels)
- T38 support for IP-analog faxadapters,
- Avaya IP-analog adapter, without need for extra licensing

Wishlist

Enable more things to be imported from the users section of the import / export utility.

enable reserve last CA as a User Right

 
Bigger SCN !!!
Reserve last CA in the user rights like mentioned above
IPPhones without a physical number (like the digital phones)
A possibility is using the extension ID instead of the number

Multiple dial by name directories.
Multiple Music on Hold.

Stabilize current releases before coming out with new ones.
 
The phones must have mind control. I think "I really have to call her" and the phone starts dialling...

Well maybe not mind control but voice control might be nice.

If I can tell my cell phone to 'Call Bob' and it does we should be able to do it on a PBX.

Also, the new Microsoft PBX has some voice control features. You can say 'Transfer Bob' and it does.
 
1)A Day/night button that can be assigned on a per ICR basis, that forces the call into the destination or the night destination.

2) the ability to auto forward messages the come into one box to another and have the system tell the user what box it came into. This is different that using Hgroupname and has an application for multiple companys on one system.

3)Backlight on 5410/5420

4)Get rid of the standard and pro licensing on IP500. All should be pro.

5)Ablity to direct dial and ext on embedded messaging (now you have to set a digit and you can't record a prompt to tell callers what to do).

6)Database conversion tool, especially now that the 406 will probably go away. I want an easy way to migrate customers from 400s to 500s and other scenarios.

7)A monitor translator so I can read what the f*** is going on easily.

8)Name as well as number attached to vm to email.

9) Date and Time on screen all the time without having to burn a button (a check box in the telephoney tab)

10)Not having to insert a 9 in the line prefix so you can call from call log. Just have the sysem know that when you press call from the log use a default ARS route.

Sort of! We used to be Panasonic DBS dealers. It had:

One BLF appearence for coverage, blf and intercom calling (nice not to have to burn two buttons for that)

Day, Night and Night 2 modes on one button to toggle (or seperate)

Whisper page to the phone without putting the caller on unexpected hold

You coould leave your phone on mute even when it was idle. Nice for maintaining voice announce and your privacy at the same time.

Group listen without the use of a special button.

You could prevent voice announce to a phone even if the caller had the ability to do so.

Hey, don't get me wrong, the IPO is a hundred times better than the DBS. It did have some nice features that our base would like to keep when upgrading.

I want the best of both worlds.


 
- Qsig on BRI ports
- Change the BRI port to S0 port
- BLF Popup on softconsole, based on the called/fallback group
- Web based IPPhones
- 1Gb IP port on the IPphones

- Better tool to export import from one IP Office to another without loss of programming.
- SCN limit rised.
- CCC accross SCN (I Know its coming)
- topology sheets which apply things such users/ddi tables and put them into a PDF automatically. Some thing nice you can print off and handover to customer (I know there are visio templates) but done through manager automatically.

your point number 1 is exactly what I sent to feature requests at Avaya. I tried to expain it to them at the forum but they looked a little blank. Every other system in the land does this. Whoever agrees with this send to iponfr at avaya dot com.

Multi Tenancy would be nice and multiple external MOH would be handy every once in a blue moon.

Reserve Last CA should be a default setting.

Easy ability to copy (not set in user rights) a setting or more from on euser to another.

Bigger SCN and bigger IP500-I believe these are coming though no proof yet.

- Hell kill the entire product and just dump out 500's, if of course they could up extension/module limits.

TheProvider, i think that is going to happens
Why using 3 or 4 different models if it can be done by 1
Going bigger is then done by a license so there won't be work around to get it done

Like now, standard edition is the small office
Then professional edition is between the 406 and the 412
And now just a dream is a license to connect 2 ip500 together to make it so it can handle 500 users and a SCN of 25 or bigger :)
In theory it should be possible to combine the memory of the ipoffice

And I was thinking of getting a hacksaw out and making a few more expansion slots and a couple of MOH ports while I was there!!

Someone has to come out with a serious answer!!!!!!!

Some of the fetaures listed above are in 4.2, multiple MOH, a bri circuit that can be switched to S0 mode etc.

BRI/S0 would be very good. some people want a single S0 circuit but £900 is too much to swallow.

1 Overflow to any number as well as hunt group, making call forwarding easier

2 wild cards in sip uri

3 sending out sip uri

4 no reboot for sip changes

5 more sip config options, simply not supporting a provider is becuase Avaya don't have enough options to configure.

6 single instance log into manager

7 create a batch of extensions in similar fashion to msn creating

8 Hunt groups incorporate Calendar profiles - can't route certain days in HG settings only incoming ddi

9 Call flow monitor in voicemail pro - i.e. watch a call as it progresses through the system. AVST has something like this.

10 NAT support for Phonemanager.

11 BLF to use more than 10 unicast addresses

12 Web interface for office admin to change users etc.

13 Web interface for all phones, not just IP for users (I know, I'm asking a lot here!)

14 SMDR that actually works, and not needing the delta. (and a lot better than cdr)

15 Free Whiskey with Every IPO 500, at least a 750ml bottle and a packet of HobNobbs
