Hello
Working with an old IPO 500 rls 5.0.26 with about 100 IP phones.
It worked fine for almost 10 years, but...
In the last month it started to make random reboots. Some days a couple of reboots, some days more.
Changed the control unit twice, removed from the UPS, still the same rebooting scenary.
System Status says:
Event type: Cold start
IP Office acount: System reboot

Here is what I found in Monitor:

Any ideas?
I think about rewriting the config from scratch.
Thanks in advance.

If no other equipment has been affected (site Power issue) then this maybe an early warning of a failing IP500 PSU
I would recommend replacing it before it fails completley

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

He's already on the third control unit since commencing testing.

I would have written a new config after the second control unit exhibited the same symptoms and you changed the power source.

It's unlikely power related, but consider earthing if this involves analogue trunks or some longer distance cable runs.

Also check if a handset is not off hook.

Wait, I'm having a headache with pictures...uhhhh an idea.
It's probably mid Summer in your locale. Are these droputs happening in the afternoon? Check the venting/airflow. Buy a cheap pedestal fan and put it on the bill of your service call out. See if that fixes it.

or rewrite the config. Only change what needs to be changed to write the config. Don't just stare and compare. You might as well merge from file if you did that- it would be just as pointless!

Some signalling from carriers has also been known to cause reboots. Might also be a short on the line or water in the pit, if copper.

A madman with a taste for speed.

Thanks for the suggestions.
No, its not power related, other systems working fine.
Its not related to heating, its winter time here in the south.
Defaulted the config and made a new config with just the basics (phones and lines), still rebooting.
Brought back the original config and stopped Delta Server and.... bingo! Two days without reboots. Still crossing my fingers.
Thanks again for the help.
