Hey everyone
I'm facing an issue with one of my clients who have IPO v11 fp4 with embedded voicemail. the auto Attendant messages are being played in a crappy sound. even the system prompts. if you restarted the system it will work fine for a while and then after maybe an hour it return being crappy again. The sd card seems ok and have enough space.

Has anyone faced something like this before.

save the config. capture the licenses.
recreate the sd card.

remembering Intrigrant 2019

i did that couple of time. i'm now in process to change the sd card completely and have the licenses re-hosted to the new sd card.
but the i heard from someone that it could be the VCM modules. i just want to check if someone faced this issue before and confirm if swapping the sd card will solve it or it could really be the vcm modules

If you are calling the AA from your an outside phone and it sounds horrible it has nothing to do with a VCM card. If you are only having issues with internal IP phones then I guess it could be a VCM issue, but I doubt it. I would say replacing the sd card is going to fix the issue.

Could be corruption on the recordings. Associate tech ran into this about two weeks ago. Re-recording fixed the issue, where a power cycle solved it intermittently.

FYI, avaya is recommending anyone on 11 04 upgrade to sp1
