IPO 500V2 R8 SIP Trunk Help

Ok, I worked with my g3r's a little off and on for years now, but trying to work with this IPO is way different. I have a new system up and running and I have 3 SIP trunks I need ot install.

I see in the logs that it is sending out a "OPTIONS" but is getting a reply of 404 not found. I have read the admin manual, and help but it does not explain crap.

Can someone guide me on how to set this up?

Ok I got OB calls working, but IB just not working. I see them hitting the IPO but I need OB routing working, and DID setup. Docs are usless and not much on the new about the IPO Basic Partner Edition...can anyone tell me how to setup the IB call routes and DID's.

On the SIP trunk administration, click "Advanced Setup" then goto the bottom right you'll see Incoming Number Filter.

Incoming Number Filter

The default incoming number filter simply converts international USA numbers received into local 10 digit numbers. However, it is also useful for mapping PC calls (from skype, google, windows etc) into a dialable number plan. One nice way to use this is to map PC calls into numbers in area code “555”

· Incoming Number
Used to match the incoming number received.

· Result
The replacement for the incoming number.

· Include in Dial Plan
When you select include in dial plan, the system will automatically substitute the number you dial for outgoing calls as well.

Look in the Monitor tool, you'll see how the number is comming in to the IPO, you used +XXXXXXXXXXX it cou be that the + is not needed or only just a part of the DDI/DID number.

You wouldn't normally add the + on just the country code onwards, for example I would use 441915188000 not +44191 etc
