ipo 500 with 1616 phones 6

I've got a Ipo500 with 4.2.11 soft

The Ip phone's start up. The adresses are entered and then the phone displays INCOMPATIBEL.

Any idea's

I did it, I put the 16xx files into the Peter homeserver, it's a 19 megs rar file

I just tried to do a 1616 with this and I can't get it to work. The phone says upgrade complete and boot right bace to being a QE phone. I must be doing something wrong. I do think I am puting the rar file in the right place.

Inside that RAR file is a whole new set of apps to do the phones. you have to extract that like a Zip and run it.

I had to google RAR files and download a program to open it. It was free.

Yeah I got it. never saw a rar file before. That's just like avaya, every once in a while they do something out of whack.

Rar files are very common. especially for moving software around

as tlpeter said use winrar its probably the best

Winrar is good and very handy
It can also extract iso files wich is handy once in a while
