How do I determine an IPO 500 V2 version and release?

I've been scanning the manuals and search forum but can't find concise information.

I read the FAQ. I'm sure it makes sense to the experts but to a novice like myself who's trying to learn more about IP Office, it seems a bit confusing.

The FAQ says:

"go to any multi button phone and dial *36 to log out the user

once the display shows NoUser you can press 2 of the programmable buttons simultaneously and it will show


and you can push the corresponding button to get the information.
It will show the version as well as the type of processor"

The first sentence says "dial *36 to log out the user". How do you log the user back in once you're finished?
The second sentence says "press 2 of the programmable buttons simultaneously". Which 2 buttons should be pressed simultaneously?

Maybe someone can point me toward the manual which contains this information.

Still not sure which 2 buttons to press simultaneously though.

Maybe it's self-explanatory when I try it from a multi-button phone?

On a 96xx phone it will be the buttons around the screen, on a 1608 it would be the buttons in the middle of the phone, on a 1616 it will be the buttons down the right side.
