HI any experts !
Can you tell me if it´s possible to make a ldk-24 sw 3.7
show incomming callerid from co lines ?

I have removed the brib card, and mounted 1 lcob2,(here is only 2 pstn lines- 2 pcs 7024d is connected) and
made the restart procedure as battsw off, and sw 4 on and off as written in the manual and the ldk found all the cards
in the new configuration.
the 2 co lines are placed in group 1, and everything works fine, callerid (cli) from local to local is ok. but no id
from the co lines. - hope you have an answer
thanks in advance

If your telefphone line provider gives the possibility to show incomming callers number on analogue lines, then ->yes.
Signalling is FSK.

Thank You Doktor, and happy newyear!

I don,t know what sort of signalling my provider is using,(have not tried to connect analouge sets to the LDK)
but only that my analouge telephones shows callerID if they are conected directly to COlines, but is there some necesary parameters (i have only looked in PGM140, 141 and 142) that has to be set ?

The LDK-24 is installed in DK

If your home country is Denmark, then it will work with analogue CLI.
The s/w of the ipLDK-24 should be new -> 3.7 to handle this.
Check with [Trans/pgm] + 72.

As you wrote:
"my analouge telephones shows callerID if they are connected directly to CO lines" -> this means that CLI is sent through your analog lines.

Hello

Happy new year to all

I mean the signal in dk is dtmf not fsk
the signal depens on what contry you live in

abl2910

Hi abl

Yow!, you are right.
"I mean the signal in dk is dtmf not fsk".
In Denmark the analog CLID signalling is of the type DTMF.
In the (almost) rest of the world theanalog CLID signalling is of the type FSK (frequency shift keying).

But it requires - to get it to work in DK:
LCOBE and software vsersion 3.7 of the LDK-24!

///doktor

I found some more.

It is important that the LDK-24 is version 3.7.

Analogue CLI Display
Description
The ipLDK System supports the following CLI protocol specifications:
? Bellcore GR-30-CORE & SR-TSV-002476 & ETSI ETS 300 659, ETSI ETS 300 778
? Denmark, TDK-TS 900 216
? Sweden, Telecom specification 8211-A112, Standard SS 63 63 25

Operation
When an incoming CO call is received at a CO line board:
1. The CLI information is detected by hardware and is distributed to station.

Condition
1. If an incoming CO call is assigned to multiple SLTs of a same slot, the CO rings are generated sequentially with a 1 second interval on the SLTs; CLI is displayed on the SLT after the first ring.
2. For CLI display on the SLT, a Ring Phase (PGM 182 - FLEX4) more than 4 seconds is recommended.
3. If the ring phase is less than 4 seconds, some of the SLTs will not receive CLI display signal.

---

Try with an analog phone - not being in a group.
Then it should work.
Try to adjust the PGM182 BTN 4...

Hello again !

I have read out (pgm+72) = DM24P-3,7AM JAN07

in DK I mean the pstn line carrier is fsk modulated, and
dtmf is only for dialing (instead of pulse dialing).

in pgm 182 i found (slt ring phasetimer set to 5 sec)

in pgm 144 i set co1 ring at the first slt only (nr.12)

i also have disa disabled

and connected an analogue phone , - it rings ok, but no

callerid is shown.

in pgm112 line 45 "analogue co clir" - i set to on,

my programmingmanual if only for sw 1,0c,

Try this:

"in pgm112 line 45 "analogue co clir" - i set to on,"
-> Set to OFF.

Your s/w is OK.

in DK I mean the pstn line carrier is fsk modulated, anddtmf is only for dialing (instead of pulse dialing).
-> Signalling of CLID is DTMF in Denmark (special TDC signalling)-> Is your carrier TDC or other?

Hi again !

I'm getting my subscribtion from a sup supplier

and my 2 analogue lines I get from the analogue output

of a bb router .

"i hope this not is the reason"

all my old devices -number logger and table telephone- set's

works with thease analogue lines - i think of callerID and

dtmf keying and so on.

the main lead provider is TDC, my old pabx is beta-24 (it's

about 30 years old - long before callerID was introduced in

DK)

and it still works with the same dsl router's pstn lines

Yes! Beta-24 (nice PBX) but nexer (ipLDK-24) is worlds best.
I think that you need the LCOBE boards to get it to work, not just the "old" LCOB.
LCOBE are hard to find since they are not sold by TDC.

///doktor

Ok Doktor, but thanks a lot for information here,

I think i'll make it work anyway w,- or wo cli,

then one day I might find this LCOBE, and try again

I think, that only the programming personal can limit

the oppertuneties in this device

OK, let me hear more about your status on this issue, when you find the LCOBE.

///doktor

Hi again Doktor !

do you know, from when the LCOBE board was

avaible - was it when TDC was agent, or was in time

of Telepunkt ?

TDC never sold LCOBE, they only sold BRIB1 and BRIB2 (ISDN boards). However some LCOBE board were received for tests from LG. I am not sure where they are to be found.
The neXer (ipLDK-24) is not produced any more, and the product that took over was the iPECS.

///doktor

The LG importers in Norway, Sweden and England used to import LG LDK-24. Maybe they can provide you with an LCOBE.

Check these links:

AND:
You could check that you internally get the A-number transferred correctly. Call from a system phone to an analogue phone with display and vice versa - and check that the correct number is shown.

///doktor

By re-reading my docs, I found out that the board you need is named: CLCOB2 and CIDPU2.
CLCOB2 is the main board and the CIDPU2 is the piggy back board. (daughter board).
It gives you 2 lines - analogue with call-ID from the PSTN.

///doktor

Found it here:

CLCOB2 2 Port Analogue Trunk card

Provides 2 Analogue Trunk connections from the Nexer v3 to external telephone networks, but with the expansion capability to allow CLI on analogue trunks (Requires CPCU2 plug-in module). The Nexer v3 needs an LCOB2/4, CLCOB2/4, BRIB1/2 or STIB1/2 to function and can accept up to two of this type of card

AND:

CPCU2 Analogue CLI module

An add on component required to enable the CLCOB2 above to perform polarity reversal detection and analogue CLI recognition.
