HI any experts !
Can you tell me if it´s possible to make a ldk-24 sw 3.7
show incomming callerid from co lines ?

I have removed the brib card, and mounted 1 lcob2,(here is only 2 pstn lines- 2 pcs 7024d is connected) and
made the restart procedure as battsw off, and sw 4 on and off as written in the manual and the ldk found all the cards
in the new configuration.
the 2 co lines are placed in group 1, and everything works fine, callerid (cli) from local to local is ok. but no id
from the co lines. - hope you have an answer
thanks in advance

Hi Doktor !

And thanks for your great work , Yes, now i'm almost finished with the configuration and caller id is shown
correctly when lokal call is made from digital to analogue
and viseversa.

I also find, this on the mainboard, that a CLCOB2 of 4 can be mounted in slot 6 or 7

Yes. You can fill anu CO boards in SLOT 6 and 7.
You can simultaneously use ISDN or analog lines.

Hi again Doktor !

Could it be possible, that i have

to mount a CSLIB4 instead of SLIB4 ?

- I mean for the local lines

Yes, you could do that, but still there are two analogue port on the BFBE board.(SLT1 and SLT2).
If you need more analogue phones a CSLIB4 or -8 is needed.
Try to call from a system phone (LDP-7024) to an analgue phone connected to the BFBE board.
And let me know if you see the number of the calling party in the display! (this is to test if local callerID works.).

Hi again !

Now I have tried something.

A call form systemphone ldp7024 to a analogue port on

bfb card shows nr 10 in the display.

But as i remember i think my bfb card is a "CBFB"

(not BFBE)

But a call from nr 10 and to an analogue phone on the

STIB4 cand is not shown in the display

do you also know, what to change, if a faxCall to

to a CO could be redirected automaticly to the analogue

local fax on the STIB4 card ?

Yes, you're right.
Aanlogue SLIB card are named "C" before their function to indicate that the Caller ID feature is included.
So:
CSLIB4 (or 8) or CBFB gives an local analogue phone line with the Caller ID feature.
CLCOB2 (or 4) gives a CO analogue trunk (connection to the public telephone network, PSTN) with the Caller ID feature.

To get the Caller ID feature all the way from the PSTN to your analogue phone, the CBFB and the CLCOB2 is needed.

Cards like LCOB2, LCOB4, BFB, SLIB4 and DSIB do not give the
Caller ID feature.

BFBE was used in neXer version 2.0, that never was installed.

What is STIB4?
I guess that you mean SLIB4.
You need to move your phones to the CBFB card to have the Caller ID feature.
Let me know if you have more issues..??
Tak for input!

Hi again !

I was wrong

The "STIB4" (DSIB8) card is a combination of SLIB and DTIB

It has 4 RJ45 sockets (one socket has analogue support pin

4&5 / digital support at pin 1&2 . it gives 8 new lines

Maybe the right name is DSIB8.

My conf is now 1 CBFB ( 2 digital and 2 analogue)

1 DTIB4 ( 4 digital)

1 DSIB8 ( 4 digital and 4 analogue)

1 WMIB

And you are right, only the CBFB supports callerid

because of the "C"

Yes.
So from the two port on the CBFB (CallerID Basic Function Board), you can now get the caller ID.
CSLIB8 can bebought if you need more ports with the caller ID function.
I guess that you can use a TDC show number box also (nummerviserbox) to show the callerID.

So "Something is (not) rotten in the State of Denmark" or ?? (according to Hamlet).

Let me know when you get hold of some CLCOB's.

Hi again Doktor !

Now i'm back again here in this thread with the cli card CLCOB2

I got it from the last of your links in this thread.

But I cann't get the callerID on the phone displays.

I made the config manually, - not the whole reset procedure

Maybe I have to change some other parms - the CLCOB2 is marked

GRB, - does this mean a thing ?

Check PGM185:

Analogue CLI Display
Description
The ipLDK System supports the following CLI protocol specifications:
? Bellcore GR-30-CORE & SR-TSV-002476 & ETSI ETS 300 659, ETSI ETS 300 778
? Denmark, TDK-TS 900 216
? Sweden, Telecom specification 8211-A112, Standard SS 63 63 25

Operation
When an incoming CO call is received at a CO line board:
1. The CLI information is detected by hardware and is distributed to station.

Condition
1. If an incoming CO call is assigned to multiple SLTs of a same slot, the CO rings are generated sequentially with a 1 second interval on the SLTs; CLI is displayed on the SLT after the first ring.
2. For CLI display on the SLT, a Ring Phase (PGM 182 - FLEX4) more than 4 seconds is recommended.
3. If the ring phase is less than 4 seconds, some of the SLTs will not receive CLI display signal.

Admin Programming
? CID ATTR (PGM 185)

///doktor

Hi Doktor !

PGM 185 is CIDU

cid usage, cid type2 usage, fast cid,

i tried to set all to "on" but no difference.

PGM 182 "SLT RING FLASH TIMER" already set to 5sec

Yes, you´re right. It has nothing to do with CIDU.

You need to check for Analogue CLI in the menues.

Make sure that your supplier of CO lines can support one of these standards!
Have a look through the CO line menues PGM 140 and up.

HI again !

I don't know the protocol of the analogue lines that is

comming from my bb router, but only, that several "show number"-

boxes works fine on both lines
