Hi everyone
This is my first thread on this forum that I find just yesterday and which is very intresting.

I try to use a Public SIP account with an ipLdk100 to do international calls through the sip trunk.

I already use the very helpfull threads of the doktor:
That I followed step by step but this is for connection with another pbx. What I want is to connect the ipLDK to A SIP public provider

The signaling is oK I can do calls through the SIP account it ring on the other side but the problem is that the speech isn't there, we hear nothing on both sides.

Second problem is that the clip is not send!!

Third problem I can't receive calls also!!!

Does anybody got n idea???!!!

Thanks inadvance

Hello
Today we did new tests:
It seems like whatever codec I put by default in SIP attributes it always uses G729, I checked that with wireshark traces.
Is there a way to forced it to anoter codec????

Hi Tarikk

You can program the CODEC in PGM340 (VOIP settings).
Set it to G.711 A-law for Europe and my-law for USA.
The system needs a restart (red button on MPB)!

That's what I'm saying doktor
Even if I set the codec in PGM340 on G711 with restart of the system, I see on the trace that it uses G729
That what it makes me crazy now!!!!!

Hi Doktor:
I send you configuration.USR wich I did probe the connection to SIP Provider via ipLDK 60
You can to see the SIP programmation
You can send it to tarikk to check it

Saludos...

Hi Mr. MorenoT

OK. I will pass the info on to Tarikk.

But we need to have a "step-by-step" installtion guide like for VOIP, PRI and IP phones.

Maybe you can send me your notes to me...?

Hi Mr. Tarikk
I will forward the info from MorenoT.

Maybe the s/w that you use is too old. I saw it was 3.7Aj.

Check this site to get a newer s/w version. At least 3.8Ba

Hi Mr. MorenoT

I got your back-up, but it is not possible for me to read it, because it is from an ipLDK-60.

Can you send the PC ADMIN off line program for ipLDK-60.

I can only read ipLDK-20/100/300/300E (office and hotel).

Just use this:

Thank you both guys
I'm waiting for the software to read the config
thanks again

You should have got the s/w (LDK PC ADMIN OffLine).
With the documents and the back-up you should be able to get some success with SIP!

Hi Morenot
Thanks for your backup
But I have a question concerning your config
in SIP attribues II: the bin 1 is on: 2049828032@192.168.10.81
and bin 2 on: 1002@192.168.10.81

I didn't understand this, normaly it is the user ID of the sip trunk which I imagine it's 2049828032, but the second one (1002 which is third station) is not clear for me.

Hi Tarikk

I checked your database.
I did not find any DNS value in the SIP I part.
Please check this.
What about licenses?
Is your VOIB board a VOIBE?
Try also to upgrade the MPB s/w of the ipLDK-100 to 3.8.

///doktor

Yes Doktor
That's what I was thinking of tis evening maybe the licence is over because I was using a 30 days trial version, I'll check his tomorrow.
And I'll upgrade also the s/w to 3.8 version
Hope this will give me some success, I'm close to give up now!!!

Do not give up!
This very good product will work, as you saw with morenot's ipLDK-60!
Good luck.

///doktor

Also check on your VOIBE software. If you browse the IP address of the VOIBE, you should be able to see the software level. It should be at least 2.1Cb.

Hi tarikkk

Don´t care with 1002 I was doing probe.
bin 1 is for user:2049828032
bin 2 is for user 2, bin 3 for user 3, etc..

don´t forgot link station X with bin X on PGM 111

Saludos..

You don´t need licenses for networking!!
only if you want centralized SMDR.

Hi Mr. MorenoT and Tarikk

You NEED licenses in ipLDK-10 for Networking and IP phones, if they are softphones. Maybe not in ipLDK-60, but in ipLDK-100.

Hi everyone

Today I did new tests:
- I checked the license: it was ok, I still have 41 days on my demo license
- I also upgraded the system to 3.8 as doktor advised.

But unfortunatly still speech problem on the calls, we don't hear anything.
Now it really seems to be a codec problem or rtp port problem.
I repeat that even if I set the default codec in PGM340 on G711 with restart of the system, I see on the trace that it uses G729!!!
Is there a way to force the system to use G711 codec???
Because I 'm pretty sure now this is the problem.

I am not shure how to force it to G.711, check on your VOIBE software. If you browse the IP address of the VOIBE, you should be able to see the software level. It should be at least 2.1Cb. If it is lower than that, this could be why you can not use G.711.
