Does anyone know where on the ESPL I can track down the latest 7.5 loadware file for an MC32S card. I have look all over that page and no luck. Please steer me in the right direction!
MC32S does not have an official loadware but the Media Gateway Controller (MGC) daughterboard 2 (DB2) loadware which is low density can be used as MC32S loadware with a specific execution.
I have 1 MC32S that keeps failing when I push the existing loadware available. The file available is IPL75017.mc32s. It shows that it was created 2010-11-16 03:50:38. I was thinking it was failing because the loadware was old. So I was looking to find the latest IPL file from the ESPL. It sounds like that may be the latest. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Yes I have. I get this:
SEC102 Element 137.135.128.243 failed to request membership in the security doma
in, Rea
son FAILED.
...No new elements were registered to the security domain.
1 element(s) failed to request security domain registration.
The problem is pushing the new 7.5 loadware. It fails and when I look to see what version it ios on it is still on 6.0
For Voice Gateway Media Cards that cannot be registered to the same
Security Domain as the Call Server, you must enable FTP insecure file
transfers on the system before performing the upgrade. To support FTP
transfers, you must enable FTP on the Call Server, enable FTP on the Voice
Gateway Media Cards, and disable SFTP on the Voice Gateway Media Cards.
For more information on FTP and SFTP, see Avaya Security Management
(NN43001-604).
The document says to enable ftp on both the call server and MC32s card and disable sftp on the mc32s card. I don't know the commands right off but the documentation I gave you I pulled right out of the high level overview of the 7.5 upgrade NTP
No go after the FTP was enabled. Here is what I get:
=> enl trans sec
Enabling secure transfers.
=>
SEC087 Secure transfers have been enabled.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, if the MC32S is on 6.0 loadware, it shouldn't register I'm thinking?
Can you access the cli of the MC32S? If so you can try issuing this command, joinSecDomain from the cli and it will prompt you for the IP address of the Primary Security Server and user name and password
