New install on version 8 with voicemail pro, but doesn't seem to work.
From any handset IP or analogue if i dial *17 or a shortcode to a module the handset just clears down and if i disconnect the voicemail and then dial i get busy tone. So it does see the voicemail but doesn't work.

Steps done so far: windows firewall diasabled (also stopped in services)
Licenses uploaded and valid(essential edition & Preffered voicemail Pro)
Correct IPaddresses setup as i'm able to ping from SSA to voicemail and from the voicemail pc to the IP500.
When i login into voicemail pro it connects fine and in the top left hand corner comes up with the correct IP Address of the IP500.
I've uninstalled VMPro and reinstalled it.
Ive used my laptop as the vmpro and used the WAN port and changed the settings and still doesn't work.
I've defaulted the system and uploaded the database and still nothing.
Re formatted the SD Card.
Any help would be most greatful as i'm at a loss now.

It is not a bug.
I have 2 inhouse systems running VMPro on 8.0
One on Linux and one on Windows.
What does monitor show you?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I'm not yet fluent in reading the monitor trace but i can see the *17 being dialled i can see the name of the extension and i says connected then there is some other bits after that, that i don't understand.
Everything seems to say its working but its not? i elimenated the network switch and used the analogue pots to test and connected the pc and my laptop directly and the fault is still there?

You have no speech from the voicemail server apparently.
Can you have a look in system status and see if it is using a conference or data channel (under resources)
I suspect a broken conference chip.

When you can then try a different IP500V2 control unit.

I checked in SSA Under Resources and i have 48 Data Channels and 128 Conf channels. When i dial *17 from a 1608i it uses one of the Data channels. Unfortunatly i don't have a spare unit with me, oh joys.

I think you should really replace it to see if it is the IPO or not.
If it does not work on the vmpro server and on your laptop connected straight to the IPO then i think it is the IPO itself.

I've just ordered 1 up, i should get it tomorrow. I'll let you how it goes and cheers for your help.

You can also paste the results of your traces here and we can look.
