Having a strange issue on IP500 4.0 (7), where clock in the system seems to be running slow. Have done some investigaton and it seems that the IP Office is elapsing 1 min in its time for every 8 real-time minutes. Anyone come across this before?

Where is it getting it's time from???

Check your VM/Manager PC.

The IP Office gets it's time from a time server on the network.

Time server is set as VM PC which is running at the correct speed.
Have also tried disabling time server updates using 0.0.0.1 but still get the same issue.
Could it be a hardware issue with the internal clock?

Could be. Our 500 is fine.

Does it update it's time from the VM every hour ok??

Yes. that what seems strange. Seems to pick the time up but then the clock in the system just runs dead slow until it is updated again.

Have you tried with a default config?

Take Care
