We have a BCM 50 and 400 networked together with IP trunks . when calling between theese 2 sites you will have between 4 to 8 minutes and the call just disconnects drops to time and date. Cant find any common denomonator with timing and how many calls or which trunks are being used which end the call originated from, etc. Any ideas?

Check and make sure the protocols and settings match on both ends. Are you using SIP or H.323?

Relating to the IP Trunking, or course, I should have added.

Thanks for the responses , we are using h.323 on both and the BCM 50 is 1.0 The BCM 400 is 3.7..

thank

Whats the data connectivity between sites? T-1, VPN?

Crowtalks has an excellent point.

I believe that there are about 10 - 12 peps that a bcm 50 1.0 needs out of the box.

Nortel.com has all of them all you have to do is search software for bcm 50-1.0.
