Hi, I have a question that would have a number of IP phones remotely that will connect to the main location(500v2 R9.1 Essential edition),the main location is networked to another 500v2 R9.1 essential edition in another city with voice networking license's. If the main switch goes down, is there a way to have the remote IP phones connect to the second location as a backup? I was thinking of using 9600 series phones. Thanks in advanced.

Yes, VIA SCN (Small Community Networking). Resiliency is configured on Line | IP Office Line | Line under SCN Backup Options.

If you're not familiar with the above and how they work, I wouldn't advise taking a whack at it on a live system. :)
