Our customer wants to be able to have two voice messages for voicemail depending on the time of the day for business hours/non business hours to the same VM box.

For example,

Daytime
Main # > user/group > busy/no answer > user/group mailbox
"Sorry we cannot answer your call ....."

Night time
Main # > user/group of the same mailbox with a different greeting
"Sorry we are closed. Please call back at ....."

I cannot think of a way to use it in the same VM box. I think I can do that with a failover for a group lets say and i'll dump it to a fake group with the no answer time @ 1 second but that will still give me two VM boxes. Even if I use VM pro for conditions, I cannot think of a method to use the same mailbox with two different recordings. The only way I feel might be through creating an AA that plays different recordings at different times.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

you can create a Leave point in vm pro for that User / Group and have it play two different greetings depending on the schedule(s) you make because you also want to include holidays.
You need to make it a voice question, I built the module because I felt like it and attach it here as it is easier than going through the whole setup.

Thanks for this. I understand this as a concept but never worked with VM Pro before. How would I point the module to work with the user/group? I am assuming this module starts right when it reaches the timeout of no answer/busy.

I remember ? under touch tones being the digits if I want to use dial by extension at any time but in this case, what is the question mark for? I am wondering if there was a specific purpose you placed it there for.

you right click on th euser and create a leave point, then just drag and drop it in or create it straight in the leave point itself

I created a ? in the menu so that you can interrupt the greeting with any digit you press. I usually do that so that people don't complain when they hit # instead of 1 or vice versa

Sorry! Didn't see that you posted until after I responded. Just read the help some more and it makes sense according to what you're saying.

Changed the collect to leave. Does my condition look right? I just have to add the dates for holiday and business hours I believe?

Looks good, calendar for the holidays and weekly schedule for the business hours.
and if you made that the leave point then you should be all good to go
