IP Office Video Softphone (7.0.23)

Hi,

I'm having an issue with the Video Softphone, when I launch it it gives me an error "IPOffice Softphone.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close". I've updated my Windows XP SP3 and also installed .net 3.5 SP1 but still no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

This is one of this mysterious Windows issues, very difficult to track down and not really our speciality, re install is first thing, or try another pc just to prove it's the pc not the programme/software

I got same issue but in win 7, but never with xp, we have 5 pcs with xp pro and work so great, very stable. The old versions of sofphone didnt work in 7 until the 7.0.23. And I also added framework, asp. Check this out!

I did installed the 7.0.23.

VoIPchic can you tell which ver of framework do you want me to check as well as the asp

you need to use a .net removal tool use this

to remove all .net reboot then let softphone install the .net again this works every time on XP iv only seen it happen on XP machines.
