Out of the box question....LOL
I have a current customer with a Merlin Magix and they use the 4424LD feature to send wake up calls to the 20 rooms in the motel. They are upgrading soon and I want to use IP Office. Are there any known work arounds in IP500 and or VMPro that will allow the time alerts to ext's for wake up calls?

IP Office & VM Pro can provide wake-up calls but it must be set from the phone which has to ring the wake up call

Erhm..The Receptionist may schedule a wake-up calls to any phone (room) in the system.

Kind regards

For as often as anyone actually uses a hotel wake-up system, IPO w/VMPro will work fine. VMPro module can be modified to allow guest or staff to create a wake-up call. This combo just won't sync easily with a property management software - you'll need to work at it a bit. For twenty rooms, that might not be important.

I am not sure if the IPO in Partner mode has all the Partner features but the Partner system was one kickass Motel system.
It had restriction buttons to change rooms from not being able to make calls to local or LD only, wake up calls etc. etc.
If the Partner version has this still then go for Partner edition and leave the VmPro behind as motel guests don't really use voicemails especially that size.

Restriction can be done with ARS per room and a button (with shortcode) to turn it on and off.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
