Greetings colleagues,
This inquiry may have been asked in previous years but I am unsure if it has been answered or resolved.
The background scenario is this: our country is finally moving from 7- to 10-digit national dialing as a result of adding a new NPA (too many mobile subscribers, I guess). The problem is we have not been able to have the T1 trunks look at all 10 digits being sent over the channel by the central office. The Incoming Routing Digits field of the T1 can only accept a single character. This causes erratic behaviour when the Incoming Call Route is unable to match the Incoming Number field to the digits received.
Does anyone know of a setting or workaround to capture all the digits sent to the line?
Thanks for your assistance.
