I want to connect a new IPO Server Edition to an existing Aura System (CM, SM release 8) to make calls between sites. What Trunk License do I need on the IP Office system? Does it require the SIP Trunk License or SM Line License is enough? Because SM Line license is 0$ cost, if SM Line is good to go then I will purchase SM Line license.

I have trunks to the 8.1 SM's and the license is:

<Feature type="counted">
<Name>VALUE_IPO_SMTRUNK_CHANNELS</Name>
<DisplayName>SM trunk Channels</DisplayName>
<Value>60</Value>
</Feature>

Thank you bignose21, Is your IPO Server Edition or IPO500v2?

The SM trunk license bignose21 mentioned will work on a 500V2 or Server Edition. P/N is 383120 for a 500V2 or a Server Edition (non select) system. I believe the P/N is 382917 if you're on SE select.

Hi biv343, I am concerned about two standalone systems: IPO Server Edition release 11 and Aura R8 can make the call to each other via IPO SM Line? IPO Server Edition will not be a branch of the Aura system. So, SM Line license is enough, or need SCN or SIP trunk license?

All you need are SM trunk licenses when the line you build is connected to Session Manager. You can do it with SIP trunk licenses also, but no point in paying for them when SM licenses are free.

Ours like biv said, it is a 11.1.2.0 server edition (non select)
