Hi,
My Customer have 6 sites network connected,
1 Site.- Primary Server, 500 V2 chassis with local analog trunks and Primary PRI.
2 Site.- Secondary Server, 500 V2 chassis with local analog trunks and Secondary PRI.
3 Site.- 500 V2 chassis with local analog trunks.
4 Site.- 500 V2 chassis with local analog trunks.
5 Site.- 500 V2 chassis with local analog trunks.
6 Site.- 500 V2 chassis with local analog trunks.

Initially, the customer need when the PRIMARY PRI goes down, is suppose to failover to the local analog trunks,
so when the PRI is down, any user from any site should press 9 and they should grab the local analog trunks from their respective site to dial out.
I am not able to make work.

At this moment, when any user from any site dial 9 goes to the local ARS, number match and goes to the H323 line to the Primary Server line 17, ARS and route to the Primary PRI located in the 5000 V2 in the Primary Site.
Works Fine.

Now the Customer have a Secondary PRI in the 500 V2 Site 2.
Can not make failover to the Secondary PRI when the Primary PRI is DOWN.

ANY ONE WHO CAN HELP ME WITH THIS ISSUE?

You have to configure backup ARS as failover. If you want to adress a special trunk on remote system rather than using the trunks a local user at remote site would use depending on system short code you have to change trunk access code in backup ARS.

Bad to explain... Have a look at Server Edition call outbound call routing examples.

Regards, Florian

Thanks Florian, I will check that tomorrow.
Can you tell me an example of back up ARS as failover.

I programmed another ARS for failover with the Local Analog Trunks, but the IP Office do not recognize when the PRI is down.

I contact AVAYA, they told me, The IP Office Server Edition can not recognize when the PRI in another site is down.
IS THAT TRUE?

Any one who worked with Server Edition, few PRI's on other sites, I will appreciated your help.

You have to create backup ARS at the system that contains the trunks. Can be a long way to route calls then ;)

In Server
SystemSC 9N/Dial/9N/PrimaryARS
PrimaryARS 9N/Dial/9N/LineToIP500 with primary Trunk

In IP500 with primary Trunk
SystemSC 9N/Dial/9N/PrimaryARS
PrimaryARS 9N/Dial/N/PrimaryTrunk
BackupARS 9N/Dial/891N/LineToServer

In Server
SystemSC 891N/Dial/891N/SecondaryARS
SecondaryARS 891N/Dial/891N/LineToIP500 with secondary Trunk

In IP500with secondary trunk
SystemSC 891N/Dial/891N/PrimaryARS
PrimaryARS 891N/Dial/N/Secondary trunk

And so on... Will be much more if you have to configure backup ARS if primary Server is down.

Would be much easier if outgoing Linegroups and ARS would be available solution wide like incoming in ICR. But if I understand right R9.1 will make a step backwards and configures ICR system individual.

No, you should try it yourself.
Make a couple ARS's to test and a test DDI and user(s).
Then try make traces and see what happens.
This is called testing which is a part of the job :)
When you install a server edition i expect you to have a certain amount of knowledge.
Without that knowledge you will get bitten in the ARS :)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Without that knowledge you will get bitten in the ARS [smile]

Nice compared...

As earlier told... It is described as an example in Server Edition documentation as outbound call scenario.

tlpeter said it... Read documentation, testing or book a course where it is teached...

Thanks Florian.
I changed as you suggested and works.
Thanks all for your help.

Hi Florian,
After the changed I DID, The customer call me and now the can not received inbound CALLER ID, show EXTERNAL on the phone display.
