Hello all. I am having problem with an IP Office and DNIS. I have the 4 digit DNIS programmed into the MSN, but when using monitor it does not seem to be receiving. I have had MCI test, and they confirm that they are sending. Any suggestions?

I have the MSN programmed w/ 4 digits, including the (-) for exact matches. I have the presentation digits as 4, and the appropriate hunt group selected.

Thanks in advance for any help. I find this forum very useful.

If you cannot see the digits in the ISDN Monitor trace then I would say that they are not being sent & MCI are mistaken
unfortunatly the only way to be sure 100% is to connect an isdn test but to the circuit

Sorry, I should have mentioned it is not a PRI, but a dedicated Long Distance T1, B8ZS/ESF, E&M Wink, 4 digit DNIS enabled. Below is a cut and paste from my monitor:

655663mS PRN: T1 Channel: E&M 1.1: Receive T1EMOffHook
655663mS PRN: T1 Channel: E&M 1.1: EventRx T1EMOffHook state=Idle

Where the sent digits are 1601.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Found the problem. First off, I did not have the correct Filter set to see all traffic. Secondly, MCI was sending Inbound ANI, *, DNIS, *. So in total I was recieving 16 digits, and the IP Office had no idea what to do with them. I had MCI strip the ANI and *'s, and it is working fine.

Any idea how to get it to work if I wanted the ANI also? How could you setup the IP Office to know the first 10 digits were ANI?

Thanks.

I'm having a similar problem with DNIS recognition. What did you mean by "I did not have the correct filter set to see all traffic"?
