where can I Recording & Setup?
when I look hunt group, the voice recording tap is gray, there is no option to select.
Thanks

(Translation to assist OP):
1st question: Why is paging port busy when I try and page?

A: Try and use a different handset. I bet you get the same result. Doesn't it have to be configured as a paging port?

2nd Question: OP wants to record an announcement for a hunt group, most likely on embedded.
A: Record your first announcement using *91(yourhuntgroupnumber)#

Slow witted reptile belch.

Thank you for your tips, I figured out company announcement and perfectly using now.

That programming is complete nonsense. Also that Ext O/P port is not a paging port, it's 2 relays for opening doors/triggering door relays :)

Just look in FAQ above.

Paging, how to make it work with an analogue station port
faq940-7677
Posted: 2 Oct 13

With an amplifier that has a 600 Ohm T/R (Tip and Ring) input:

connect the analog station port directly to the T/R input of the amplifier
make sure there is a User that matches the port (we make it 234 here)

Change the Extension port setting in the Analogue Tab to be "Paging Speaker"

create a shortcode
*25
Dial Paging
234
Line ID doesn't matter

You can now add the user created for the paging extension to a huntgroup and can page the entire huntgroup with another "Dial Paging" shortcode having the group extension in the Telephone Number field

Done Usually

Should you have a non telephony paging amplifier then your impedance is around 10kOhm and you will need to use impedance matching devices like the WMT1A which is simply put between the IPO station port and the amplifier input. This device can also be used if you need to have several inputs and use the AUX input on a regular amp.

hope that helped

Thank you for your information but still "declined User is Busy" ??????

I connected IP Office analog port #7 and dialed Short Code *10 Declined User line is busy The article says (You may have to use a 500 ohm to a 20k Ohm resistor across the page port.) (3 to 5 watt). . can I have a diagram and where to buy 500 ohm to a 20k Ohm resistor and what kind of item is?
Thanks

Page port must have an off-hook condition, otherwise you will get a busy when calling page Extension. (You may have to use a 500 ohm to a 20k Ohm resistor across the page port.) (3 to 5 watt). I usually buy a cheap

I usually buy a cheap
That can be a problem. Buying cheap but spending very much time to investigate options that work out of the box with other solutions can cost a lot of money.

Connect an analogue phone to the extn port.
Leave it off hook.
Reboot ip office to see the off hook condition.

Tell you what, make your life easier. Buy a SNOM PA1 and set it up as a SIP extension on your IP Office.

Benefits of this device? You don't need analog functionality. You will not hear a Central Office "POP" when a page is released like you normally hear for Analog Loop Start Trunks. Also, you can integrate night bell ringing into this device as well.

Setup works as easy as this:

1-Setup a generic third party SIP extension.
2-Attach Snom PA1 to your DHCP network.
3-Attach a RCA cable from the 3.5mm headset output on the device to an RCA Input or Terminal Strips on Paging Amplifier by TOA, Bogen, Valcom, Paso, etc.
4-Power Snom PA1 up and the IP address will be broadcast across the paging system. (You can also hook headphones into the jack temporarily as you boot up the system and the IP address will play out to you and not the whole building) Make sure to reconnect headset output to paging amplifier.
5-Type in the IP Address of Snom ex. 192.168.1.5 into your browser.
6-Set up Network parameters for your system under Network and then place SIP Username and Password credentials into "Identity 1" (Basically set up an extension like you would for any normal SIP phone)
7-Make sure extension is registered
8-Pick up any phone in the system you want to page from, dial in the extension of the Snom PA1 SIP extension.
9-Page Will come out loud and clear over your sound system. Play with volume if necessary.

If you want to disguise the extension, assign a short code to it. I assigned 80 to mine.

I'll try to do a video on it sometime this weekend. I absolutely love this device. It costs around $100.

Thank you and Be Well,

Joe
