I saw an earlier post regarding IPO and VMware. I just wanted to see if someone could confirm that Avaya doesn't support IP Office and Voicemail Pro running on a virtual server.

Thanks!

That is true
If not tested then not supported
And it is not tested for the ipoffice
But it does work well

ACA - Implement IP Office
ACA - Voice Services Management

Offiically not supported cause but as tlpeter says it works fine. Use it on the lab work bench to be able to switch rapidly between different flavours of Windows. Never hit a snag with any of the IP Office apps refusing to run within the VMWare environment and never detected any oddities or problems.

We use the VoiceMail Pro on a VMware server. It actually works very well. We haven't noticed any downsides.

We've had nothing but good things in this environment. Some customers use VMWare, others are using Microsoft's Virtual Server. Easy to back up (one file). ;)

Same here,
we have a customer running VM Pro (don't know the exact version, I can look it up if needed).

One time we had problems with announcements (they wouldn't play). On a different laptop they played immediately.

We removed VM Pro, installed it again and since then no problems...

I'm running 406 and Voicemail Lite on Vmware server 2.0.
Loving it!!! Works great, but then again I was the one who strted the previous thread about VMware, so I should love it right ? :)
