Hi All,
I was wodering whether someone may be able to point me in the right direction. I have a old IP 500 unit which I took from a site (suspected to be broken) but to be sure I decided to do a complete erase all of any firware it has. Now I am trying to load 8.1 back onto it using the ip500.bin.
I have created a BOOTP request in manager using the MAC address of the unit. Please see screenshot:
I checked and double checked this was the correct MAC address by running Wireshark. All I see it doing is a Boot Request by sending a broadcast. Please see screenshot:
I have no idea why it will not pick up the firmware. Please note I have set the working directory of Manager to the correct location of firmware, also I have turned the firewall off etc. My laptop is set at 192.168.42.100/24
I look forward to your reply.
Thanks,
Chris
