I would like to clarify if we could install different versions of IP Office Manager (e.g. R5 [v7.0.8] and R6 [v8.0.8]) inside one PC?
I have tried to do so with installed on different directory, but the original installed version will be deleted... Besides, I checked with "File">"Preference">"Directories" setting, both applications use same parameter setting...
Can we actually use new IP Office Manager (R6) to program IP Office R5 system?

Backwards compatible = yes. But why would you want to do that? Also you can have different versions on the same pc that are functional. Which is much different than what you just said. But imagine installing a version, renaming the directory then installing a different version. Now imagine only keeping the exes and dlls and ops files. Don't really need the bins unless you are a glutton with ample drive space.

I have over 15 versions in a directory called Manager versions that I use to open various cfgs.

Use system monitor unless of course you are a Tard then it IS the fault of the pbx.
