Hi there,
whenever we run IP Office manager on our network on any PC, it kills the DHCP Server service? If we close manager down then DHCP starts again... Just wondered if anyone had seen this before?

Thanks
Garry

You need to change the rogue detection in the server.
It probably is a SBS server?
You also can turn off bootp in manager.
That is why the dhcp stops working.

When you pay peanuts, you get monkeys!

honey, i fried the IP Office !!!

Sarcasm, it's only one of the services I offer.

Cheers for that, it is SBS. I'll have a poke about thanks

This is the regkey:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DHCPServer\Parameters] "DisableRogueDetection"=dword:00000001

haha, I was just about to post that myself I found it on microsoft forums ) It's worked for me, and as it's a small office LAN it's not something we really need.

Thanks for your help
