Hello pple,

I am running Windows 7 on my Desktop PC.

For some strange reason, when I launch IP Office Manager, it causes my Domain Controller to shut down the DHCP Server service.

Has anyone observed this?

I have checked and can't find what is causing this. All my IPOs are not set to act as DHCP servers.

Could it be the preference option of "Enable BOOTP and TFTP Servers"?

This caused by bootp sended out by manager.
You can do two things

1) turn bootp off in manager
2) go to the registry and change or add this string:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DHCPServer\Parameters] "DisableRogueDetection"=dword:00000001

Thanks guys. Do I need to reboot server after this, or just restart the DHCP service?

I thought a restart of the service was enough but you will know soon enough when you try it :)
