I have a situation where I have five locations with IP Office 3.1 in a star configuration. From one remote location, sporatically they will not hear the audio from the other end of the call across our MPLS network. It in only on inbound at that location that it happens. I have had the T1 tested with provider and all data packets are received so I know it is not a router issue. I do have service vendor for my phone system but they are not providing answers to my problem. Is there anyone out there that has had this problem before that could help?

one way speech is most of the time a routing problem
maybe they tested the T1 not the right way
maybe the router is bad

Thanks for your help. I will escalate this will the provider and have them check their managed routers also.

Hi There,

Do you check your VCM.
Whe have the same problems and there was the VCM bad.

do you have the same codec set for the system tab on all systems and any ip extensions? also turn off "allow direct media path"?

You can get one way audio sometimes if there is a unit on the network with the same IP adress as the IPOffice.
This happened to me twice on customer with remote IPDect system.

Thanks for all the information. From all the information you gave to me I was able to solve this problem. It was a VCM issue that was setup incorrectly by the vendor. Thanks to MRKnowe for the help and thanks to everyone else for the quick answer to my problem.
