Anybody else notice that recording outbound calls with an account code do not appear in the Contact Recorder playback (all other recording is fine)? It appears as though calls recorded in this way do not have an owner, therefore cannot be played back since all queries in Contact Recorder require the recording to be owned. After many cups of coffee, I figured out a workaround. For example, if I want to record all outbound calls to area code 801, I made the following short codes / account code:


Code: 91801XXXXXXX
Feature: Dial Extension
Telephone Number: *801N
Line Group ID: 0

Code: *801XXXXXXX
Feature: Dial
Telephone Number: 1801N
Line Group ID: (outbound trunk group)

Account Code: 801
CLI: 1801???????
Record Outbound: Mandatory
Recording (Auto): Voice Recording Library

With this setup, the call recording owner is set to the account code, allowing calls to be displayed in Contact Recorder's 'Search and Replay' feature.

I went with Media Manager i feel it works alot better then contact recorder
