Was wondering how to get an IP Office 406 with a VCM card to communicate with a S8700. I have never done this one before was hoping someone on here can tell me if they have tried and did it work. What did it take to configure it and was any additional licensing was required for the 8700 to support an IP Office.

There is a document that talks about configuring an IP Office to an IPO 600 which covers the basics using an H.323 trunk. As long as you have the trunking open to the S8700 to create the H.323 trunk you should be good to go.

I know someone had linked that document many times, but off hand I don't recall where it's at exactly.

I've done it on our system and it worked pretty well, followed the document and didn't run into any gotchas.
