i have 9508 digital sets using BLF add on mods. Model BM12. liquid crystal displays.

starting at button 25 i have:
Action = User, Action Data = xxx (where xxx is the extension)

Addon Mod shows the user name on the display.

The receptionists have 2 mods attached to thier set. when both are connected, the 1st mod will not update busy/inuse lights. the 2nd mod works normally. If i remove the 2nd Mod from the chain and reboot the telset the 1st mod will now work normally. Note, pressing users name for calling or transfer works on both mods everytime. it's just the lamp lights not updating.

Is thier a limit (i.e ONE) to how many addon mods can be on one set??

suggestions.......

9500 Series phones are supported by IP Office Release 7.0 and higher.
The phones support the addition of up to 3 BM12 button modules.

There was a problem with the phone software 6.2.2 ( S9608_11HALBR6_2_2_09U_V452.tar ) upgrade to the latest version should solve these problems ( S9608_11HALBR6_2_4_08U_V452.tar ), this software is delivered with the 8.1.69 manager software or downloadable from []support.avaya.com[/url]
In the docs coming with 6.2.4 there is a known problem which may be your problem and still not solved : 32962549 Button phones: On specific scenarios, LEDS are not showing exact status.

Intrigrant talks about the 9605 (IP) and you have a 9508 (Digital) but maybe it is solved in the latest release.
