what IP office applications can we installed in 1 server? we are trying to setup a demo unit server and want to maximize it. for example. can contact store be in the same server with one-x portal. thanks

one x portal needs to run on it's own. contactstore and vm pro run ok together.

What else are you looking to install?

Use a good solid one with enough disk space and virtualize it all
It will be supported in a bit
1XP and vmware do not like each other but CCr does not have a problem with it (as far as i know)

virtualization maybe out of the option since one-x portal and CCR requires 2gb mems. i would like to have as many app servers in one server as much as possible. i have already tried VM Pro, Contact store then CCR in one server. maybe i just have to go without one x portal

Use a 64bit machine and put in 8Mb
Memory is not expensive any more

We run VMP and 1XP and Contact Store on a Windows 2008 32-bit box in-house. For customers we use host server quad-core with 8GB of RAM running a virtual machine on this same physical server that runs Windows 2003 32-bit for CCR.
