IP Office and Valcom Paging 1

Trying to to use a Valcom Loudspeaker Paging system with a IP Office 406 v 4.1.(12). Passing the interface to the Valcom through a UPAM, and accessing the page using an analog station port. The extension port is set to IVR, and the user is set to no voicemail and offhook in the telephoney. The best I get is 6 seconds of talk before the Valcom shuts me down. The Valcom is a 9940 unit. Do I need a different interface?

Is the analog station port set to paging??

prflash, I had the port set to "paging" and that did not work, went to "ivr" and that works but times out

On the Anlog tab of the ext form set the ext to paging port. I have about 150 of these around the country. We sometimes use 2 paging ports for different area of the building and interface with a Viking unit

If I set the analog port to paging, shouldn't I not get a voice response into my test set when I dial the shortcode that operates the analog extension? I do not get any voice at all
