The customer has analog trunks from a fiber circuit. Provider is att. System is ip office 11.0 basic in key mode. Using a cordless phone or my butt set connected to the analog port, I dial out and some times the call completes. Most of the time it doesnt. The trunks will ring the the analog extensions just fine when receiving calls. All of the digital phones work perfectly making and receiving calls. The only issue is dialing out on the analog extensions. The trunks are assigned to the analog extensions, so you grab a trunk immediately when you go off hook. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Can you explain how did you make it go straight to the trunk so we can get better understanding of your issue?

Line appearance on the first button makes it grab that trunk when you go off hook.

Is this an AT&T BVOIP IP Flex box doing analog hand off?

Yes it is voip lines and the flex box doing the hand off. They have no pots lines. I have a ticket in to att hopefully to change some dtmf settings which after extensive testing I believe might be the issue. Hopefully. Thank you for the response, and any further knowledge you have on this will be greatly appreciated.

And icet, the trunks were first in the ALS. I switched the intercoms to be first, dialed out by pressing 9 and same issue. Some calls will complete, but most will not. Also the customer tried to make a call on the analog extension once, and it went some where other than the number he dialed. He checked the last dialed number and it was correct. That has partially led me to beleive that the dtmf tones arent being recognized properly by the carrier when using the analog extensions. When the issue occurs I get dial tone, then I dial the number, and after a short pause i get a busy. Sometimes the call goes through fine.

I would say if you can plug your POT set directly to the line and try dialing out some numbers and see if it goes thru. If not then it’s definitely the carrier.

I tried with my butt set at dmarc. Works fine. Works fine on the digital phones. Just not the analog ports. System has two combo cards with 6 digital stations, 2 analog, 4 trunks each.

System is brand new and the issue happens on analog ports of both combo cards.
