Ip office 9508 hanging on please wait - not updating 2

Good Morning

Recently we have upgraded our IP office 500v2 to firmware 8.1 release 52.

One of our phones is a 9508 digital phone which is hanging on please wait. I have followed various threads on this forum to no avail. When trying to upgrade from SD card i have noticed this lines in the monitor:

577228941mS PRN: UpgradeFileReader(f4fcd6d4:3)::End of File 9500R44.bin len=0 reason=2 error=4

I have also changed the phone port from a combination card to a digital 8 card but the problem is the same.

There are simila problems on other models but for now I am focusing on this model.

Can anyone guide me what is the problem please?

You need to upload the R44 file to the SD card with the embedded file management.

The 9500R44.bin is already on theSD card. Is there a particular dir where to place?

It must be in the primary folder.

already tried it

saved it in the root folder, in the /system folder and also in the /system/backup (where all the files are) to no avail

I find that I have to reboot these phones sometimes a few times to properly get the firmware downloaded and get it up and running.
