I am trying to print button labels using DESI from IP Office Manager. I have done this in the past with no problems.

When I click to 'Print Via DESI', DESI opens and I get an error saying "Another app requested that DESI automatically import data, but DESI was unable to open the requested import file. The import file path was: C:\Program Files\DESI\DESI Labeling System\Desi.csv No data has been imported."

When I navigate to that folder I don't see the Desi.csv file that it is referencing. It looks as though Manager is not even exporting the file, thus why DESI can't open it. I am using the newest version of Manager(9.0.200.860), so I am wondering if there is an incompatibility. I have tried this with multiple PCs. I tried contacting DESI who said its an Avaya problem and Avaya said its a DESI problem.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so what did you do to solve it? Thanks for any help.

If anyone is having the same problem, it looks like it is isolated to the newest version of Manager(9.0.200.860). I rolled back to an earlier build of version 9 and was able to print the labels with no issues.

I have tried it on earlier versions and still have never seen it work

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.

You must run Manager as Administrator otherwise it cannot write in the Program Files directory, exporting the directory won't work either if not run as Administrator.
Right click on the link to Manager and select "properties" > "compatibility" and select "Run as Administrator"
It is more a OS issue as a Manager issue I think.
I run Windows 8.1 64 bit and the above method works fine.

:) posted in the right thread this time and only posted once.
